Fubo drops NBCUniversal channels, leaving up to five Premier League matches unavailable
Fubo has removed NBCUniversal channels, leaving US subscribers without several Premier League games.
Fubo subscribers in the United States face a disrupted weekend of Premier League coverage after the streaming service announced the removal of all NBCUniversal channels on Friday, Nov. 21. The move means as many as five Premier League fixtures that were due to appear on Fubo will not be available to viewers on the platform.
Fubo said the blackout is the result of a contract dispute with NBCUniversal during renewal negotiations and accused NBCUniversal of “discrimination” in the terms offered. The company made its position public in a detailed statement that set out the reasons behind the decision.
Fubo released a statement , which read: “Fubo has been engaged in good faith negotiations with NBCUniversal (NBCU) to renew our long-standing content agreement to distribute their networks to consumers.
“Fubo believes customers should have the option to choose among multiple distributors to access the content they love. Unfortunately, NBCU has offered terms regarding pricing and packaging that are egregiously above those offered to other distributors. There is no basis for this discrimination and, as a result, Fubo subscribers would either be denied important content or be forced to pay what we believe to be exorbitant costs.
“As a result, all NBCU networks are no longer on Fubo as of 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 21, 2025.”
An array of channels is affected, including various regional NBC Sports channels, USA Network, Golf Channel, NBC Universo and more. With five Premier League matches scheduled to be available via Fubo across the weekend, subscribers have been left without the expected access to those fixtures.
Fubo has urged affected viewers to use alternative services when possible and directed customers to Peacock, saying: “If you have access to Peacock, you can continue watching NBCU content there.” The dispute is ongoing and Fubo says the channels will remain unavailable until an agreement is reached.

Napoli Open to Assessing Loan Move for Kobbie Mainoo as Midfielder Seeks Minutes
Napoli open to assessing a loan for Kobbie Mainoo as he seeks more minutes away from United. in Jan.
Napoli have not dismissed the possibility of pursuing Kobbie Mainoo on loan as the Manchester United midfielder seeks regular playing time. Mainoo has struggled for minutes under Ruben Amorim and is reported to favour a temporary move abroad when the January transfer window opens, with links to Napoli and Bayern Munich.
Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the club’s potential involvement, suggesting any approach would be evaluated. “He is a player who has been linked to Napoli since August, also for his age, his potential, and the transfer opportunity,” Manna said. “This team is doing well, it is consolidated. We have some important absences right now, but sooner or later the lads will return, strong and determined. We have to make the right evaluations, so we’ll see how things progress along the way.”
The interest is framed by recent business between the two clubs. Napoli have taken Scott McTominay and Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United in the past couple of years, moves that the Italian club will be conscious of as they weigh any further activity.
Reports in the Daily Mail indicate Mainoo has chosen Napoli as his preferred destination and that “at least 12 clubs” could show interest if Manchester United permit a loan. The player was thought to have been keen on a move to Naples over the summer as well. Any transfer is likely to depend on United’s willingness to engage and whether the club requires a replacement first. It has also been suggested a decision on Mainoo might be delayed until after Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo return from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mainoo’s limited appearances this season have prompted questions whenever Amorim has faced the media. On the topic, the United boss said: “I see it. I just want to win, I try to put the players, I don’t look who it is, I don’t care about that, I’m just trying to put the best players on the pitch,” reinforcing that selection is based on performance and team needs.

Haaland Jokes He’s ‘Nervous’ of Carragher After Bernabéu Penalty
After netting the Bernabéu winner, Haaland joked he is now ‘nervous’ of Jamie Carragher’s barbs. TV.
Erling Haaland used a lighthearted interview appearance to poke fun at Jamie Carragher after his match-winning night at the Santiago Bernabéu. Fresh from converting the decisive penalty that sealed a 2–1 victory for Manchester City against Real Madrid, Haaland was asked about the studio mood and took aim at Carragher’s recent on-air exchange involving Mohamed Salah.
Haaland was beamed into the CBS Sports studio and, with a smile, said: “Oh, I’m getting nervous now when I see Jamie Carragher in the studio…” Carragher responded loudly from the set: “You don’t need to be nervous, Erling. Don’t be nervous.” The banter continued when Micah Richards intervened to ask: “Haaland, who do you prefer? [Antonio] Rüdiger or Carragher?”
Haaland reacted with a vocal exhale before answering. “Oof,” City ’s No. 9 said with an exhale of breathe. “I think I need to say Rüdiger now because Carragher is a bit [of a] loose cannon now, so we need to be careful…” Laughter in the studio overtook the final part of his explanation.
The striker’s jocular tone was echoed elsewhere on the night. Speaking to TNT Sports from the pitchside, Haaland reflected on the physical side of the contest, referring to Real Madrid’s defenders. “You could see after one minute Asencio was starting to push me and try to beef with me a lot,” he said, and added: “It’s something I like, personally, I don’t mind it.”
Haaland’s comments arrived after a sequence in which he won the penalty following a tug by Antonio Rüdiger and then calmly converted from the spot to secure the win. The exchanges in the studio and on the touchline underlined Haaland’s relaxed mood after a defining moment at the Bernabéu and produced a rare clip of good-natured ribbing between a player and a well-known pundit.

Guardiola’s Public Praise of Rodrygo Reignites Transfer Questions
Guardiola’s praise for Rodrygo reignites transfer talk after a standout performance and goal. again.
Pep Guardiola’s warm appraisal of Rodrygo after a recent match has renewed speculation about the Brazil international’s future. Guardiola spoke with Rodrygo after the game and made his admiration clear: “I told Rodrygo how good he is,” the City boss revealed. “He’s a player of another level… this guy is a player on another level. I’m glad he’s back from injury. He’s very, very good.”
The remarks came after a display that represented one of Rodrygo’s best nights in months. Deployed on his unfavored right wing, he opened the scoring with a crisp swipe into the bottom corner to end a record-breaking eight-month goal drought. He also created the game’s most chances — five in total, all of which were squandered — and won the most free kicks. Despite those contributions, and his own admission that “it wasn’t enough” to avoid defeat, Madrid fell 2–1.
Guardiola’s praise will inevitably stir headlines because City have long felt the sting of Rodrygo’s interventions. He scored twice in the final minutes of the 2022 Champions League semifinal to drag Real Madrid back into contention, and he found the net in both legs of the 2024 quarterfinal. That history, combined with summer reports that City were among suitors when his future at Madrid looked uncertain, means any public endorsement from Guardiola is likely to be noticed.
Rodrygo himself has sought to focus on his club responsibilities. Having struggled for a starting berth this term, he pledged to knuckle down under Alonso and made a point of celebrating his goal with the manager. “I liked his performance,” Alonso said of Rodrygo. “The goal was a consequence of other things he did well. It’s one of today’s good pieces of news to see him with that individual quality, that flair, and he also scored, which was important for him. ]
The combination of a decisive individual performance, a high-profile admirer, and a recent transfer backdrop ensures the conversation around Rodrygo’s next steps will continue. For now, the immediate focus remains on his form and fitness.
