Two players entered the treatment room after Tuesday\u2019s 5\u20132 defeat at Atl\u00e9tico Madrid. Tudor confirmed both Cristian Romero and Jo\u00e3o Palhinha will miss the Liverpool game after being placed in the concussion protocol following a stoppage-time clash at the Metropolitano. Yves Bissouma, who had been left out of Tottenham\u2019s Champions League squad midweek, is also absent with a muscle injury.<\/p>\n
Micky van de Ven is suspended after the red card in the 3\u20131 defeat to Crystal Palace. Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie are sidelined in defence, with Udogie expected to return soon.<\/p>\n
Midfield selection is particularly compromised. Palhinha and Bissouma are unavailable alongside Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. Conor Gallagher is listed as a doubt while he battles a fever, although the winter recruit is likely to feature.<\/p>\n
Tottenham\u2019s forward options are reduced too. Wilson Odobert will miss the rest of the season and Mohammed Kudus is expected back after the March international break.<\/p>\n
A threadbare Tottenham side will chase a first win at Anfield since 2011.
