Activity was muted overall but several clubs still made decisive moves that show their priorities for the rest of the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n<p>Manchester City were the biggest spenders in the window, reporting a total outlay of \u00a384 million after bringing in Antoine Semenyo and Marc Gu\u00e9hi. Crystal Palace were close behind on \u00a383 million; their business included the \u00a335 million signing of Brennan Johnson and an initial \u00a343 million fee for J\u00f8rgen Strand Larsen after another proposed move fell through on Deadline Day.<\/p>\n<p>Tottenham Hotspur spent \u00a347.8 million and West Ham United \u00a347 million as both clubs sought to arrest difficult starts to the season. Bournemouth invested \u00a336.5 million, while Aston Villa spent \u00a328.7 million. Fulham, Sunderland and Brentford also strengthened, with outlays of \u00a327 million, \u00a323.6 million and \u00a38.5 million respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Wolverhampton Wanderers recorded \u00a37 million of spending. Nottingham Forest and Brighton &#038; Hove Albion registered modest windows at \u00a32.1 million and \u00a31.8 million.
