The Telegraph reports that formal permission was given on Monday for Chelsea to discuss the role with Rosenior, and the former Hull City manager quickly agreed to take his first Premier League managerial job.<\/p>\n
Chelsea had interviewed Lu\u00eds, who won the Premier League title with the club during 2014\u201315 in his only season at Stamford Bridge. Lu\u00eds has since enjoyed success with Flamengo, winning the Copa Libertadores, Brasileiro S\u00e9rie A and four other competitions in a stellar 2025.<\/p>\n
The appointment has stirred controversy because of the ownership links between the clubs.
