Reports from early in the season said Chelsea were working towards signing Emmanuel Emegha in the summer of 2026, and that deal was confirmed in September. Emegha\u2019s arrival joins Jo\u00e3o Pedro and Liam Delap in a crowded striking group, making a move for Joaqu\u00edn Panichelli unlikely.<\/p>\n
Julio Enciso completed a permanent transfer to Strasbourg from Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer window, with reports suggesting a plan for him to spend one season in Ligue 1 before joining Chelsea ahead of 2026\u201327. No formal confirmation of that arrangement has been offered.<\/p>\n
Three loan players will return to Chelsea at the end of the season when their temporary deals expire: Mike Penders, Kendry P\u00e1ez and Mamadou Sarr. Penders has been a regular starter under Rosenior and Sarr has enjoyed considerable minutes.
