Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson in a club-record deal.<\/p>\n
Johnson struggled for regular game time after Thomas Frank took charge at Tottenham, starting just six Premier League matches from a possible 19 and totalling 601 minutes, the equivalent of fewer than six full games. He has accepted Palace\u2019s long-term offer and will swap north London for south in a deal reported to be worth around \u00a335 million ($47.2 million).<\/p>\n

Manager Oliver Glasner credited the club for “making this happen so quickly,” while chairman Steve Parish added: “I\u2019m delighted that Brennan has joined us at Crystal Palace\u2014an exciting young talent with an excellent recent record in domestic, continental and international football.<\/p>\n

Johnson spent just under two-and-a-half years with Spurs after signing a six-year contract in September 2023 when \u00a347.5 million was paid for his services. He scored 27 goals in 107 matches across all competitions, operating largely from the right wing, and his maiden season saw him top the club\u2019s assists charts with 10.<\/p>\n
On the international stage Johnson has 42 caps for Wales and is expected to figure prominently in the national side\u2019s push to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
