\u201cWhen I came to the club, apart from loving being here and loving the club, I think my loyalty was in the toughest periods and I could have left two times,\u201d Fernandes said. \u201cThe club said \u2018no, we need you\u2019 and I said \u2018OK, you gave me something, I will give you something.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The Portugal international acknowledged outside interest, including approaches from the Saudi Pro League, and hinted at potential moves to La Liga and Serie A, while leaving open the possibility of a return to Lisbon.
