Arsenal have begun formal discussions to extend contracts for Bukayo Saka and Jurri\u00ebn Timber and are preparing to open talks with Declan Rice as part of a broader effort to keep their core group together.<\/p>\n
Conversations with Saka and Timber are already under way and are reportedly progressing well, with optimism that agreements can be reached in the near future, per Fabrizio Romano. The club\u2019s intention to start negotiations with Rice is clear, but his renewal is expected to take some time.<\/p>\n
The timing of these moves reflects Arsenal\u2019s position domestically and in Europe. The Gunners are currently the odds-on favourites to win both the Premier League and the Champions League and are topping the standings in both competitions under Mikel Arteta, albeit with a long way to go before the season concludes.<\/p>\n
Saka\u2019s deal runs until the end of the 2026\u201327 season, while Timber and Rice have contracts that extend until the conclusion of the following term. Saka\u2019s contract therefore expires first of the three.<\/p>\n
