Ibrahima Konat\u00e9 has described recent reports that Liverpool have offered him a new contract as unfamiliar to him, while confirming his representatives remain engaged with the club. The defender can open talks with foreign clubs as early as January, when he will enter the final six months of his deal.<\/p>\n
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been regularly named as potential destinations, and Bayern Munich has been linked in recent weeks. Talks are reported to be under way involving all three clubs about a possible summer move, with Konat\u00e9\u2019s representatives exploring the options open to the former RB Leipzig defender.<\/p>\n
While away on international duty with France, Konat\u00e9 was asked about what has been presented as a final take-it-or-leave-it offer. His response suggested no such proposal has been formally made.<\/p>\n
“I’ve seen a lot of things,” Konat\u00e9 told reporters. <\/p>\n
\u201cLiverpool have reportedly made me a new offer, I don’t know where that information came from.<\/p>\n
