Chelsea are reported to be close to agreeing terms to bring in former Liverpool recruitment chief Dave Fallows. The 45-year-old is understood to have played a key role in the analytics-driven arrivals of Alisson, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Man\u00e9 during his time at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
Fallows, who has also had spells with Manchester City, Newcastle United and Bolton Wanderers, is expected to take a role similar to the one he held at Liverpool, working alongside sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart and co-directors of recruitment and talent Joe Shields and Sam Jewell. \u201cScouting, player pathways and football development,\u201d are named as areas which will benefit from Fallows\u2019s focus.<\/p>\n
