The Gunners were beaten at the Cottage on New Year’s Eve two seasons ago and managed only a draw at Fulham last season when Bukayo Saka had a late winner ruled out for offside.

Arsenal have shown signs of evolution after an aggressive summer. They have already beaten former bogey teams Newcastle United and West Ham United across seven league matches, and Liverpool’s back-to-back defeats have allowed Arsenal to emerge as the new league leaders. Arteta will want them to remain at the top.

Fulham arrive having slipped to 14th after back-to-back defeats. They had looked set to take a result at Bournemouth on a wet Friday night two weeks ago, but an Antoine Semenyo-led Cherries comeback left Silva’s side with nothing from that trip.

Recent results (selected):
Fulham: Bournemouth 3–1 Fulham (03/10/25); Aston Villa 3–1 Fulham (28/09/25); Fulham 1–0 Cambridge (23/09/25); Fulham 3–1 Brentford (20/09/25); Fulham 1–0 Leeds (13/09/25).
Arsenal: Arsenal 2–0 West Ham (04/10/25); Arsenal 2–0 Olympiacos (01/10/25); Newcastle 1–2 Arsenal (28/09/25); Port Vale 0–2 Arsenal (24/09/25); Arsenal 1–1 Man City (21/09/25).

Broadcast: United States — fuboTV, UNIVERSO NOW, Peacock, Telemundo Deportes En Vivo, Amazon Prime Video, NBC, UNIVERSO. Samuel Chukwueze picked up a knock in Nigeria’s victory over Benin that could keep him out. Fulham will be without a recognised centre-forward if Raúl Jiménez does not recover from a hip injury, with Rodrigo Muniz a sure bet to miss out. Jiménez was not called up to the Mexico squad for their October internationals. Saša Lukić suffered a groin injury against Bournemouth and could miss a month. Kenny Tete is also out. Emile Smith Rowe is fit and available.

Fulham predicted lineup (3-4-2-1): Leno; Diop, Andersen, Bassey; Castagne, Berge, Cairney, Sessegnon; Wilson, Iwobi; King.

Arsenal updates: Arteta has provided positive updates on the recoveries of Kai Havertz and Noni Madueke; neither is ready yet but both should return before the next interval in November. Piero Hincapié is available again. Martín Zubimendi and Ben White will be in the matchday squad. Martin Ødegaard will be out for “weeks” with a knee injury. Ethan Nwaneri could fill the captain’s void, though Eberechi Eze will likely be used in midfield alongside Declan Rice and Zubimendi.

Arsenal predicted lineup (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice, Eze; Saka, Gyökeres, Martinelli.

Conclusion: Arsenal have added attacking options through the centre that help them break narrow, compact defences. Fulham’s mid-block has caused them problems previously, but Arsenal arrive well placed to win.

Arsenal chase a first Craven Cottage win in two years while Fulham manage injury absences and more.

[192,713,969
984,826,253
post-3865","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arsenal","category-fulham","category-premier-league","tag-ben-white","tag-bukayo-saka","tag-declan-rice
["GET
