Bayern Munich\u2019s sporting leadership moved to limit speculation over Harry Kane\u2019s future after recent comments from two directors and another prolific performance by the striker.<\/p>\n
Sporting director Christoph Freund said he can \u201ceasily imagine\u201d Kane remaining in Bavaria and even extending his time at the club. The remark followed an earlier, more dismissive line from Max Eberl, who noted the 32-year-old is \u201cold enough to make his own decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Freund offered supporters stronger reassurance while pointing to Kane\u2019s current form. \u201cWe\u2019re probably witnessing the best version of Harry Kane there has ever been,\u201d Freund told Sky Germany. \u201cHe\u2019s a perfect player for us, and Harry feels very comfortable in Munich, with the team and his family. That\u2019s why we hope he\u2019ll stay in Munich for a few more years.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kane arrived from Spurs in a club-record move worth \u20ac100 million and signed until 2027. He will be 34 when that contract expires, but Bayern clearly value his fitness and finishing output. Freund tempered talk of negotiations with caution. \u201cIt\u2019s still too early to discuss it in detail,\u201d he warned. \u201cI think both sides can easily imagine continuing together beyond the end of the current contract.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kane addressed those concerns after the match: \u201cI\u2019ll be recovering for now. I took a bit of a knock. Give it a few days, then everything should be fine again. There should be no problem for the national team. I\u2019ll be there on Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n
