Crystal Palace captain Marc Gu\u00e9hi has sought to steady conversation around his future, insisting his attention remains on his current club despite persistent links to Liverpool. The centre back has been the subject of sustained transfer speculation since a proposed move to the reigning Premier League champions failed to materialise.<\/p>\n
In the immediate aftermath of that collapse, reports suggested Gu\u00e9hi was “angry” with Palace for denying him a dream switch. Club chairman Steve Parish indicated the club would be forced to accept a suitable offer for a player with less than 12 months remaining on his contract, while manager Oliver Glasner supposedly railed against the proposed deal.<\/p>\n
