Jakub Kiwior has described a disorientating end to his time at Arsenal after learning his move was publicised on social media before he had full information. The Poland international, who started just 10 Premier League games last season, said he was caught off guard when news of the transfer broke on X.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the last three days there, I didn\u2019t know which would truly be my last. \u201cThe next day I returned, already knowing I could say goodbye. I went to the pitch to say goodbye to my teammates and the coach. They set up a farewell tunnel, and it was tough. I didn\u2019t have everyone I wanted to say goodbye to, and I still had to make some phone calls.\u201d<\/p>\n
Injuries affected Kiwior\u2019s opportunities at Arsenal, but he finished the 2024\u201325 campaign strongly, stepping in for the injured Gabriel Magalh\u00e3es and frequently impressing alongside William Saliba. With regular first-team minutes a stated priority for the 2025\u201326 season, Kiwior has moved to Porto and will aim to carry the momentum of that late run into his new environment.<\/p>\n
