Alejandro Garnacho has closed a five-year chapter at Manchester United after completing a transfer to Chelsea. His exit followed a string of events that left the winger frustrated with his role at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
Garnacho was dropped alongside Marcus Rashford for the Manchester derby in December 2024 and was later named on the bench for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. His public frustrations ultimately saw Amorim decide he was no longer welcome at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Garnacho became the penultimate arrival at Chelsea of the summer transfer window. The Blues completed their recruitment on Deadline Day when Facundo Buonanotte joined on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.<\/p>\n
