Arsenal have opened negotiations to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, with the England international understood to be eager to move, according to The Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein. The 27-year-old looks set to leave Selhurst Park after four years at the club.<\/p>\n
Initial discussions over Eze\u2019s future centred on Tottenham Hotspur, with talks held between Palace chairman Steve Parish and counterpart Daniel Levy. Spurs had reached the conditions of a deal with both Palace and the player, but Arsenal\u2019s interest has altered the situation, particularly after the knee injury sustained by Kai Havertz.<\/p>\n
Arsenal are negotiating directly with Palace and have indicated a willingness to meet the terms Spurs had agreed. Eze is understood to favour a switch to the Emirates Stadium, leaving Tottenham to weigh up alternative attacking targets.
