Barcelona have completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, with Hansi Flick admitting the move caught him off guard.<\/p>\n
The club moved quickly after accepting defeat in their earlier pursuit of other options, agreeing a deal reported at around $11.6 million (\u00a38.5 million) to bring the Brazilian to Camp Nou. Jesus arrived for a medical on Monday and has now signed a three-year contract, becoming Barcelona\u2019s sixth arrival of the summer.<\/p>\n
The transfer closes the book on a four-year spell at Arsenal, where Jesus made 123 appearances, scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists. When he joined in 2022, he was widely viewed as a key figure in the club\u2019s improvement under Mikel Arteta.
