Manchester United are facing a familiar problem in their search for midfield reinforcements: the players they want from Real Madrid do not appear keen to move.<\/p>\n
Aur\u00e9lien Tchouam\u00e9ni and Eduardo Camavinga have both been linked with a summer switch, but the signs point in the opposite direction. Reports have suggested that Real Madrid are willing to part with Tchouam\u00e9ni, yet that possibility looks remote. Fabrizio Romano has said the French midfielder already signed a contract extension with Los Blancos weeks ago, although the club has not announced it officially. Romano also stressed how \u201cimportant\u201d Tchouam\u00e9ni is to new boss Jos\u00e9 Mourinho.<\/p>\n
At the Bernab\u00e9u, the feeling is said to be clear: Tchouam\u00e9ni is staying.<\/p>\n
That leaves Camavinga as the more realistic option for United, at least on paper. \u201cThe only way to get Camavinga, whether it\u2019s Man Utd or any other club, is to get a green light from the player,\u201d Romano reiterated.<\/p>\n
Yet this situation could still shift if Florentino P\u00e9rez decides to move for Rodri. The Manchester City midfielder has long been open about the possibility of a Bernab\u00e9u switch, and Real Madrid have returned to the idea after he won the Golden Ball for a standout World Cup with Spain.<\/p>\n
