Manchester United have introduced their away kit for the 2026-27 season, turning to a royal blue base that points back to the club\u2019s past.<\/p>\n
Supporters may already have spotted it before the official launch. During the 2026 World Cup final, British rapper Stormzy, a known supporter, appeared to leak the jersey on social media while wearing it to the game.<\/p>\n
The club have now confirmed the design, which adds the adidas Trefoil logo as a clear vintage reference. The shirt is built around royal blue, with red and white detailing on the v-neck collar and cuffs. Three red adidas stripes run down the sleeves, while the same shade of royal blue is carried through to the shorts and socks.<\/p>\n
No specific debut date has been given for the new strip, though it is already on sale. United\u2019s supporters will now be watching to see when it appears on the pitch for the first time.<\/p>\n
Michael Carrick\u2019s side wore their new home kit in the preseason opener, a 1-0 defeat to Wrexham, and return to action on Friday against Norwegian side Rosenborg.<\/p>\n
