The 2026 World Cup ends on Sunday after six weeks and 104 matches, but the summer schedule in the United States still has more football to offer. For supporters looking for another run of fixtures, the USA Summer Tour 2026 brings a short series of matches across several major venues.<\/p>\n
Wrexham CEO Michael Williamson summed up the appeal earlier this year. \u201cWrexham in the USA 2026 takes us back to the United States for the first time since 2024 and in the same year the FIFA World Cup is being held in the states,\u201d he said in March.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cThe tour provides a fantastic opportunity for our growing fanbase, especially those living in the U.S., to follow the team in action across three high-profile matches.\u201d<\/p>\n
Wrexham arrive with a large following built through their Hollywood-linked ownership by Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds, along with the documentary series, Welcome to Wrexham, which began in 2022. Season five premiered in May and follows the club\u2019s historic 2025-26 Championship campaign, when they finished just two points short of a promotion playoff place. Since the takeover in 2020, the club has climbed from the National League to three straight league promotions, only narrowly missing a fourth.<\/p>\n
The tour also includes Liverpool, Sunderland and Leeds. Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League last season, which secured Champions League competition next season, while Sunderland were seventh and booked a place in the Europa League group stage. Leeds ended the campaign in 14th.<\/p>\n
