Mohamed Salah could be moving toward a fresh chapter in Turkey, with reports suggesting Be\u015fikta\u015f are making progress in their pursuit of the forward.<\/p>\n
His representatives are said to have travelled to Istanbul for talks, while journalist Ya\u011f\u0131z Sabuncuo\u011flu has reported that Be\u015fikta\u015f have tabled a first offer. Salah was initially understood to be seeking an annual salary of \u20ac15 million ($17 million), though the report says he has now lowered his expectations to help a deal move forward. Sabuncuo\u011flu also says the player\u2019s lawyer has arrived in Istanbul.<\/p>\n
The latest developments follow a series of social media messages from Salah\u2019s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, who wrote: \u201cWe still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon.\u201d He then added: \u201cIt is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn\u2019t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.\u201d<\/p>\n
Salah announced in March that he would leave Anfield after nine seasons. His final campaign there was a difficult one after Liverpool won the 2024-25 Premier League title with a record 47 goal involvements, before the team slipped to fifth place the next season.<\/p>\n
