Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Oliver Glasner as their newest manager. The club announced Glasner will take charge as head coach as they prepare for the coming season.<\/p>\n

The appointment comes after a turbulent period at the club. Twelve months ago Forest finished seventh in the Premier League and qualified for the Conference League, albeit with disappointment at not reaching the Champions League or Europa League. In September 2025, then-manager Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo clashed with owner Evangelos Marinakis and was dismissed.<\/p>\n
Ange Postecoglou lasted eight games, Sean Dyche managed 25 matches, and Pereira was given 20 matches to address a relegation battle. Glasner now becomes the fifth permanent manager since the start of the 2025\u201326 season, with Marinakis believing the team will benefit from hiring a natural \u201cwinner.\u201d<\/p>\n
