Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez is pressing for an exit from Chelsea after three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge. Prior to the World Cup it was reported that Chelsea would sanction a \u00a3120 million ($160 million) exit for the midfielder who signed for the Blues for around \u00a3106 million ($141 million) back in 2023.<\/p>\n
His agent, former Argentina international Javier Pastore, has confirmed his client is looking at options to leave Chelsea this summer and talked up the Spanish capital as a nice place to live\u2014though he denied that any talks have taken place just yet. Fern\u00e1ndez and Pastore appear to be prioritising a move to Real Madrid, and the 15-time European champions are said to be monitoring the situation, but no formal approach has been made and other targets remain under consideration.<\/p>\n
If a move to Madrid falls through, there are few clubs with the resources to mount a nine-figure bid. Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Fern\u00e1ndez in the past, but the French club are reported to be focused on attacking reinforcements this summer, with Yan Diomande, Maghnes Akliouche and Juli\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez among their reported targets. Fern\u00e1ndez could rise up PSG\u2019s list only if one of their midfielders\u2014Vitinha, Jo\u00e3o Neves or Fabi\u00e1n Ruiz\u2014were to depart, although exits for those players are not currently on the cards.<\/p>\n

Maresca\u2019s arrival at Manchester City has been mentioned, but City have already committed \u00a3116 million ($153 million) to another midfielder in Elliot Anderson, making a move there less likely.<\/p>\n
The Saudi Pro League remains an option that could offer significant financial terms and publicity, though the league has yet to land many players in their prime. Atl\u00e9tico Madrid could also pursue Fern\u00e1ndez; a fee in the region of \u00a3120 million would represent a club record, but the club has been willing to spend heavily when it chooses to do so.<\/p>\n
