Crystal Palace have emerged as active suitors for Cagliari right back Nadir Zortea, with Serie A side Fiorentina also linked to the player. According to an update by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Palace have set their sights on signing the Cagliari full back this summer.<\/p>\n
Cagliari remain without a formal offer but are aware of strong interest from the Selhurst Park dwellers and from The Viola. The Sardinia-based outfit will monitor developments as both clubs consider their options, with the potential for a transfer battle to develop soon.<\/p>\n
Palace arrive at this window on the back of a successful period. They won their first trophy in 120 years last season as Oluver Glasner led the side to lift the F.A. Cup.
