Aston Villa have confirmed that their Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace will take place on Sunday, August 31, with a 7 pm kick-off at Villa Park. The game had originally been scheduled for Saturday, August 30 but was moved forward by one day.<\/p>\n

Palace were originally set to participate in the 2025\/26 Europa League before their Court of Arbitration for Sport appeal over breaching multi-club ownership rules was turned down on Monday.<\/p>\n
Villa and the Eagles met four times last season, with the South Londoners winning three of the encounters, including April’s FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley. The revised date means Villa Park will host the early-season meeting on the Sunday evening slot, with kick-off confirmed at 7 pm.<\/p>\n
The club statement confirmed the fixture alteration and the new kick-off time. Supporters and broadcasters were notified of the rescheduling, which aligns Villa’s home calendar with Palace’s continental commitments.<\/p>\n
The rearrangement follows the outcome of Palace’s appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the subsequent adjustments to their European programme. The change preserves Palace’s ability to fulfil the UEFA Conference League play-off second leg while keeping the Premier League fixture in the opening weeks of the season.<\/p>\n
