Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of center back Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth in a transfer worth \u20ac67 million. The Ukraine international has agreed a five-year contract and is the club’s second senior signing of the summer.<\/p>\n

Zabarnyi follows former teammates out the exit door to seal the move to European champions PSG. The signing arrives as manager Luis Enrique looks to rebuild a defence that he sought to strengthen after PSG’s disappointing defeat to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final.<\/p>\n
In related moves, Lucas Chevalier has arrived from Lille and is expected to take the place of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been frozen out amid a lack of progress in talks over his expiring contract. Zabarnyi will join a crowded centre back group already featuring Marquinhos and Willian Pacho. The squad also includes 21-year-old Lucas Beraldo and the experienced Presnel Kimpembe, giving Enrique a range of options at the heart of the defence.<\/p>\n
