Sunderland have finalised the signing of Arthur Masuaku on a free transfer, the club confirmed this week. The 31-year-old full-back has signed a two-year contract on Wearside after parting ways with Turkish outfit Besiktas at the end of June.<\/p>\n
Masuaku returns to the Premier League following a three-season spell away from England\u2019s top flight. He previously made 128 appearances for West Ham United between 2016 and 2023, leaving the club before his spell abroad.<\/p>\n
The arrival of Masuaku brings Sunderland\u2019s summer recruitment to ten new players. He becomes the club\u2019s tenth signing of the summer, joining recent recruits Enzo Le F\u00e9e, Habib Diarra, Noah Sadiki, Reinildo Mandava, Chemsdine Talbi, Simon Adingra, Granit Xhaka, Robin Roefs and Marc Guiu.<\/p>\n
