Chelsea have reached an agreement to transfer striker Armando Broja to newly promoted Burnley, as reported by Fabrice Hawkins. The 23-year-old forward is set to complete a medical with Burnley ahead of the move. While the exact fee remains undisclosed, BBC Sport suggests the deal could be worth up to \u00a320 million, representing pure profit for Chelsea given Broja\u2019s status as a club academy product.<\/p>\n
Broja, who will turn 24 in September, made his Chelsea first-team debut at the end of the 2019\u201320 season. He showed promise with 11 goals during a loan spell at Vitesse and later contributed six Premier League goals for Southampton. He returned to Chelsea to play under Graham Potter, making 18 appearances before suffering a significant ACL injury that sidelined him into the start of the 2023\u201324 season.<\/p>\n
After recovery, Broja was loaned to Fulham for the latter half of the season but managed just 81 minutes across eight games.
